Greens, Lettuces and Herbs CropBox
Grow up the equivalent of an acre of conventional field agriculture or 2,200 sq ft of the highest producing hydroponic greenhouses in 320 sq ft. Stack the Cropbox up to 5 high to produce 5x those yields.

This kind of thing worries me, mass production of the types of food we think of as "healthy" in a sunless electromagnetic soup, never under rain or in living earth.

awesome concept, and neccessary, the ground needs the nutrients for beings that do not possess the technology to grow their own produce outside the natural system. IMO, one day, no field will be EVER AGAIN be tilled to feed anyone and no part of the planet need be used again, for anything. we will all live aboard low-alititude craft with daily descents to tend the planet; remove fallen trees etc etc. There has to be better ways to produce natural light that much I can agree with, but we have to stop using the planet the second we develop the means to. Let the foiliage grow die and replenish the ground not be sent to our tables.
