How is the Mars rover Opportunity still alive? In 2004 the rovers Spirit and Opportunity touched down on the Red Planet and began journeys that were each expected to last about 90 days. Both rovers lived exponentially longer than expected, and in fact, Opportunity is still going strong in 2016. Could electrostatic cleanings via the electrified Martian wind be responsible for the rovers' extraordinary long-livedness?

I don't know what to think about this. are the missions even real?.

what if it just rained every now and then ?

Oh that would be to much , rain on Marzo!

Also if there was so much dust to worry about the mechanics of the bearings etc. would quickly seize. And the wind would make it worse.

The whole rover thingo biz just doesn't work for me.

The whole thing is a mystery indeed.

I think that the need to be using data and other items of "so called" interest that are clearly originated from devon island is a big clue to the cover up for mars, this coupled to the fact that there are no clear recent pictures of even the planet itself,,, most are duplicated images from way back or cgi fakes.
Mars like the moon is covered up and anyone interested is left guessing.

Continuing from last week Richard looks at more evidence to help us decide whether the Mars Rovers actually went to Mars. First he looks at images which seem to show evidence of moisture, which apparently doesn't exist on Mars due to the very low atmospheric pressure. He also takes a look at the very enigmatic organisation, The Mars Society - who are not a company, nor a charity, but a "not for profit" organisation. Why do we need an autonomous "society" to do field research pertaining to Mars Rovers? - Could it be that NASA need some plausible deniability if their fraud is ever discovered? Who is Robert Zubrin? and does he really believe that rockets can get Man to Mars, or is he part of something more sophisticated? - There are more questions than answers with the Rover Missions, it's just a pity NASA don't seem to like providing answers to very simple questions!
