You know for once it may not be heartburn lol, the more thought I give it the more it makes sense! Providing a such a place for people to socialise would draw a lot of business given its theme.

I actually do feel like its an idea whose time has come, the first location would almost certainly make some form of waves at the local level, in a (likely) negative context though, this will all depend on the ever so fluid leadership narrative changes going forward, either way bad publicity is still publicity as they say.
