This is the video update for me riding through Iran, on my journey from Malaysia to the UK on my Honda C90.
This video may be long-winded but it needs to be to truely show just how awesome Iran is!
I'm so glad I went through there and not avoid it like the newspapers and government try to make you do.
Don't forget to go to www.c90adventures.co.uk for all my other video updates, pictures and spoof comedy videos.

What a great adventure, his site is pretty good too !
The honda C90 is probably the worlds most numerous motor vehicle, very reliable, almost indestructible & they do a zillion miles to the gallon too.

Re: Riding a c90 through Iran
I had one of those C90s. It's the later model with the rectangular headlamp. The original had a round headlamp and was all together a better machine.
I had the original C70 before I had the C90. The C70 was bomb proof, the C90 was nicer but it had a big weakness in the engine design. I burned out the exhaust valve twice before I gave up and got rid of the bike.
It could be partly my own fault. I was always trying to make it go faster than it was happy with.
Fuel consumption was very good. It's a 4stroke too, which means you don't have to put up with such a raspy noisy lawnmower-like sound as you do with 2stroke engined bikes.
It's semi automatic. That is, it has 3 gears and you can change from one to another by just pushing a foot lever.

I can't help but think a previous owner had moved the circlip on the needle to save fuel thus making it run too lean & therefore too hot.
