Re: The UK's EU Referendum ! ! !
Hey Norman did they have pens or pencils to mark the ballot paper ?
That sounds like at closing time they can tick a load of the "no shows" & use their vote ?
I'm seeing a lot of people report that only pencils are provided (it says don't bring a pen on the voting advice flyer thing apparently)
This woman had the police called on her !!!
So all these ballot papers are going to Manchester, not counted locally, another anomaly

Re: The UK's EU Referendum ! ! !
ah, you posted while I was finishing my edit above.
This is getting very smelly, me thinks.
It was a tied down thick black pencil, not really like an ordinary pencil. A sort of cross between a pencil and a crayon. Thicker than a normal pencil too.
edit to add:
The pencil one of the couple in there used to ruler mark my line in the printed scroll list was a very normal skinny one with the usual shiny silverish 'lead' line.

Re: The UK's EU Referendum ! ! !
I asked why were they using pencil for everything , including what they were doing . They didn't know , so I told them I would be using a black ink pen . They didn't object , but they did ask me why ? I told them all contracts are written in black wet ink and an X is your signature , because we couldn't write . They seemed very interested in my reply . So I turned up with six others and they did the same .

I expect twirly's right it will be a fix up.

Don't be down Ria , know you did the right thing . I've been battling for weeks and taken some hard knocks . But we can all hold our heads high , we did a good thing today , even if it is rigged . At least now tptwb now how much opposition they have against them . If I were them I would be very worried indeed , Rome fell in the end .Ria wrote:Good on you boys

EU whistleblower in £130m case is fired
By Ambrose Evans-Pritchard in Brussels
12:01AM BST 14 Oct 2004
The outgoing European Commission sacked its most tenacious whistleblower yesterday in a final settling of scores, prompting furious protests from Euro-MPs.
Marta Andreasen, the former chief accountant, was dismissed without pay following a 28-month inquiry after she spoke out against the European Union's "Enron-style" book-keeping.
Guided by Neil Kinnock, the reform commissioner, Brussels imposed its harshest sanction, even though internal EU documents have largely validated her claims.
A commission statement yesterday listed a series of staff violations mostly entailing breach of loyalty and lack of "discretion", but the commission refused to specify the exact offences.
Mrs Andreasen, a Spanish citizen educated at British schools in Argentina, was tried in a secret tribunal headed by a senior commission official. She protested that she had been tried and convicted by her enemies and said she would appeal.
"I encountered evidence of structural fraud embedded in the European Commission systems," she said. "High officials knew this was the case, and still is the case. I am the one who has behaved as a real European - and I have paid for it with my job."
Brussels rarely fires staff, though several whistleblowers have been sacked in recent years. Officials linked to the disappearance of £3 million in "slush funds" are still on full salary more than two years later, though their conduct was described by fraud investigators as a "vast enterprise of looting".
Jens-Peter Bonde, a Danish Euro-MP and leader of the reformist bloc in Brussels, said there were now plans to find Mrs Andreasen an anti-fraud job in the European Parliament. "It's outrageous," he said. "We need a petition drive to have the whole commission sacked."
The decision may be Mr Kinnock's last act before stepping down as the commissioner in charge of fighting fraud.
Mrs Andreasen was suspended from her £85,000 job in May 2002 for breaking "hierarchy lines". She contacted the Court of Auditors and Euro-MPs after superiors ignored her warnings, later telling the press that the EU's £63 billion budget was "an open till waiting to be robbed".
A leaked memo to Mr Kinnock from the EU's senior auditor said her claims were "factually and substantively correct" and her suspension "would be a serious blow to reform, sending a signal that the old ways of keeping things from happening still work".
The heart of Mrs Andreasen's complaint is that the commission lacks "double-entry" book-keeping, now routine in the private sector, allegedly making it possible to divert large sums of money without leaving an electronic fingerprint. She found a £130 million discrepancy between two sets of books for 2001. This has never been fully explained.
Chris Heaton-Harris, a Tory Euro-MP and leading anti-fraud fighter said: "This is a vindictive move from a failed commission. All Marta Andreasen did was do her job properly.
"She informed Neil Kinnock and his colleagues of her concerns, yet Neil Kinnock's response was to suspend her and now sack her."

Re: The UK's EU Referendum ! ! !
The Hidden Nazi Background Of Walter Hallstein, Founding President Of The Brussels EU Commission
One of the curious things about the Brussels EU is that in promoting itself to the world it continually tries to rewrite, or even erase, some of the most important facts about its history. While there are many examples of this, nowhere is it perhaps more apparent than in the image it tries to present of Walter Hallstein, the man who was the first president of the European Commission, the unelected executive body of Europe. Hallstein held this post between 1958 and 1967 and is described on the Brussels EU website as a “visionary leader” and a “diplomatic force” who propelled European integration. However, no mention whatsoever is given by the Brussels EU to the fact that before and during World War Two Hallstein was a member of official Nazi organizations.
For example, the Association of National Socialist German lawyers was founded in 1933, immediately after the Nazis had seized power. In 1936 it was converted into the notorious Nazi Association of Law Protectors. Membership of this second organization was restricted to those individuals showing uncompromising support for, and participation in, the implementation of Nazi ideology. In a memorandum sent by Hallstein to the representative of the Nazi government at the university of Rostock in Germany in 1935, Hallstein stated he was a member of both these organizations.
On 9 May, 1938, Mussolini welcomed Hitler at the station in Rome.
But Hallstein’s role in these Nazi law associations was not simply a passive one. To the contrary, he played key roles representing the Nazi government in official state negotiations.
In May 1938, for example, one year before the outbreak of World War Two, Adolf Hitler paid an official State visit to Italy to meet with Mussolini and initiate the planning for a future Europe under their control. This official Nazi State visit marked the beginning of some of the key preparations for World War Two – including the implementation of dictatorial laws across Europe. To this effect, a bi-national commission was established, including members from both Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy, with the primary goal of creating the legal basis for a European dictatorship.
Only a few weeks later, the first meeting of this commission’s lawyers took place in Rome. One of the legal experts representing Nazi Germany at these official negotiations was none other than Walter Hallstein.

Re: The UK's EU Referendum ! ! !
Nothing happens until there is a new PM & Cabinet, so nothing is likely to happen this year anyway.
The vote is a surprise, but it still looks "massaged" maybe they will launch a major remain psy-op & hold another vote like in Eire ?
IT is also clear that the vote in England & Wales was based on the immigrant problem & Scotland continue to vote anything anti English regardless, and in NI it was a sectarian issue as usual

Re: The UK's EU Referendum ! ! !
Well, thanks for the news, I've been fast asleep avoiding it all.
So we voted to get out, and we won!
Now the real fight starts, I guess.
